The most wonderful time of the year is finally here and it's time to start getting everything ready for Christmas. Hang on, wait. No, it isn't. It's on October 7. But it appears shops up and down the country didn't get the message as Christmas sandwiches have hit the shelves.
People can now buy their favourite festive lunches in big chains including Aldi and Tesco even though it's still months until the big day. Shops and cafés will be offering up their usual classic sandwiches, filled with turkey, stuffing, pigs in blankets and cranberry sauce. Christmas lovers have taken to social media to voice their delight. Last year Mirror Online tasted Christmas sandwiches from all of the top shops, to decide which was the ultimate festive treat.
