A bizarre new challenge sweeping Instagram has seen people sharing photos of themselves apparently having fallen from boats, cars and even planes.
The #fallingstars challenge, which began in Russia, invites participants to share their best fake fall and nominate their friends and followers to do the same, and people have been going to extreme lengths to make their tumbles as dramatic as possible. It seems to have proved particularly popular with Russian millionaires, as scores of images capture people apparently face-planting the tarmac after disembarking from private jets a Miss Ukraine contestant among them. Others have flung themselves fully clothed from boats to capture their 'falling' moments, posed as though tumbling from cars, clattering down shopping mall escalators, or in the case of the model Arizona Muse spilling onto the road from the back of a DHL delivery van.
