Simon Cowell donates £50,000 for boy to get treatment for cancer in America.

Caring telly guru Simon Cowell is giving £50,000 to send a boy to the US for vital cancer treatment.
He is coughing up the money to help four-year-old Zac Oliver – while urging X Factor fans to donate as well.Zac has Near Haploid, an extremely rare leukaemia, and America can offer treatment unavailable on the NHS.His family, from Broseley, Shrops, need £500,000 to fund the CAR-T therapy in Philadelphia. Supporters had already raised a mighty £350,000 before dad-of-one Cowell,59, offered to chip in.
Music mogul Simon said in a message to fans: “This boy is four years old and needs money to get him to America to get the help he needs.“So I want you to please to go on Zac Oliver’s JustGiving page and whatever you can donate will make a difference. And because I don’t like well-known people telling people to do something and don’t do anything themselves, I’m going to donate £50,000. We’re going to get there.”Cowell spoke ahead of Zacfest, a fundraiser at Telford Town Park on Sunday. Zac’s mum Hannah Oliver-Willets said: “Thank you, Simon Cowell. I explained to Zac that Simon has helped to pay for his special medicine. Zac said ‘thanks Si’, lol. Little does he know how much closer we really are to getting him to the US.
