Though Africa is largely seen as the poorest continent, it is, however, home to quite a considerable number of multimillionaires and billionaires and collating a list of these “well-to-do” personalities can never be complete without including the “men of God”.
With some African pastors having tens of thousands of congregants flocking their churches every Sunday and even on weekdays for “consultations” and other special services, it comes as no surprise the jaw-dropping wealth they have amassed from offertories, tithes, donations, just to mention a few. From mansions to luxury cars, to designer clothes and even private jets, some of these men of God are really out there living their best lives albeit not same for some of their followers which is rather unfortunate. Prophet Shepherd Bushiri: South Africa based Malawian pastor is the founder and leader of the Enlightened Christian Gathering Church. As of last year, he had 3 private jets to his name. He is also one of the richest men in Malawi.
Pastor Enoch Adeboye: The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Nigeria reportedly owns a Gulfstream Jet valued at $65 million.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome: The founder of Christ Embassy, Pastor Chris was reportedly gifted a private jet by some members of his congregation last year.
Dr Kofi Danso: The Canada-based Ghanaian pastor is the founder of Miracle Arena for All Nations. He was reportedly gifted a private jet by some members of his congregation as a birthday gift.
