In pictures: Wildlife Photographer of the Year launches online people’s vote.

They are some of the most amazing wildlife photos taken this past year and you can vote for your favourite. The Wildlife Photographer of the Year has launched its Lumix People’s Choice Award, and there is an array of stunning pictures to choose from. The 25 images, which feature lions, foxes, owls, seals and beavers, are on display at the Natural History Museum in London until June 2019. Online voting is now open, and you can choose your favourite image until 2pm on Tuesday, February 5, 2019. The images were pre-selected by the museum from more than 45,000 entries from 95 countries. Ian Owens, director of science at the Natural History Museum, said: “Inspiring audiences to connect with the natural world is at the heart of what we do as a museum, and that’s why we’re so proud to run this competition.“The Lumix People’s Choice Award is special to us because it gives the public the chance to choose the winner, and I’m looking forward to seeing which of these beautiful photographs emerges as the favourite.
