The one-year-old son of Manchester City and England star Raheem has a got a pretty mean shot on him, as revealed in an Instagram video from his obviously very proud Dad. Sterling senior shared the footage of Thiago taking a long run-up to the ball and absolutely smashing it forwards, before throwing in a celebration with his arms aloft for good measure. The 24-year-old is rightly very proud of his son, adding the captions "My boy only 1" and "celebration on lock" to the video. And fans are suitably impressed too.
City supporter Andy Lowe commented on Twitter: "Raheem Sterling’s 1-year-old son already has unbelievable technique."While Ope Solaja joked: "Take in the way Sterling's son strikes the ball. I'm looking at my son with so much anger!"Sterling posted the video hours after City had won 3-1 at Southampton, getting their title challenge back on track after three defeats from their previous four games, including back-to-back losses to Crystal Palace and Leicester
"We've had two difficult results to take," Sterling told reporters after the game. We wanted to give ourselves a chance and that's what we did, not just in terms of our football but off the ball as well. The last three games we started well but then it's been sloppy. Today, in terms of our mentality even before we got to the stadium, we were full of fighting spirit."
