Woman has a 'condition' that makes her sleep for a week after a night of drinking.

A student, named Hermione Cox-Denning, can sleep for a week at a time after she drinks alcohol, and while people may laugh and think they wish that was the case for them, it really isn't a laughing matter.
Hermione was only recently diagnosed with Kleine-Levin Syndrome, which is a rare neurological condition that means her body totally switches off for days at a time. When she first started drinking she thought it was a flu or winter bug that she caught the day after, but when it happened constantly after a night out, she knew something was wrong. She told Real Life: "It took me a long time to see what was triggering this for me. I knew it wasn't stressed and I couldn't see a particular food pattern."I realised that when I drank alcohol, I would often have an episode the next day."I've learned that I can have one or two drinks, but much more than that causes me to plunge into a deep sleep for days afterwards. I'm like real-life Sleeping Beauty."The condition means that she is unable to drink, eat or even go to the toilet when she's in one of these states. Speaking about when it first happened, she said: "My mind was so confused - I couldn't speak, I didn't eat, or drink and I didn't go the toilet. It was like my body shut down."I was always on my phone before, but I didn't speak to anyone for a whole week because I kept sleeping."I think a lot of my friends were worried because I just disappeared."Right now, Hermione is taking a gap year as the condition lessens with age - so she's hoping that will happen to her.
