Toddler dies falling from cruise ship.

The 18-month-old girl was allegedly "dangled" out of the ship's window by her grandfather when she slipped from his grasp. The child is believed to have fallen the 150 feet from the ship's eleventh floor to the concrete below.
She was rushed to the hospital and later pronounced dead. The Sun reports that the toddler, from Indiana, USA, was on holidays with her parents and grandparents. The Royal Caribbean cruise ship, Freedom of the Seas, was docked at San Juan, Puerto Rico when the incident occurred yesterday. Local police have launched an investigation into the toddler's death. They are currently interviewing passengers and watching the ship's CCTV."Police have now launched an investigation and are trawling CCTV of the ship," said Elmer RomΓ‘n, from the Department of Public Security."At this time (the Division of) Homicide is in place. It has not been possible to interview the family. It is a very strong scene, very sad and tragic."At one point, one of her grandparents (...) in an act of games, exposes the girl to the void and (she) falls out of his hands."The family had reached the end of their seven-day cruise at the time of the incident.
