The world's best body painter plays tricks with the mind with incredible body art in which his subjects disappear into their backgrounds. Visual wiz Johannes Stoetter has replaced canvas with the human body, transforming his living models into objects inspired by the natural world.

Johannes, 35, spends up to five months painstakingly planning and perfecting each of his amazing creations. Each work of art then takes up to eight hours to complete using special breathable paint.

The stunning creations, which include fruit made from painted heads, have earned Johannes the world bodypainting title. The latest and most impressive creations is a lifelike tropical tree frog using five people to recreate the animal's body, legs arms and head. Johannes, from South Tyrol in Italy, said: 'I did my first bodypainting experiment in 2000.

'Five years earlier I had the idea to paint a human body but it took me until I was 23 to try it.'The experience was so special that I wanted to do it again immediately - I wanted to try it with different colours, a different model and a different motive.'I couldn't imagine that there would be a way to earn money with bodypainting, but nevertheless, I was totally convinced that I wanted to do it - I felt that it was my way.

The incident was captured on video by a fellow passenger, David Lawrence, and has gone viral, with more than 5 million views on Facebook and 600,000 on YouTube as of Monday. It's unclear what, if anything, triggered the tirade.

A German man has been jailed for lacing baby food with poison in an attempt to blackmail supermarkets. The 54-year-old had laced several jars of baby food with a poison used in anti-freeze to try and get German supermarkets to give him money.

French teen charged over threatening teacher with fake gun.

A FRENCH TEENAGER who was filmed threatening his teacher with a fake gun in a Paris suburb was charged yesterday with aggravated violence, prosecutors said. The incident, which was filmed and uploaded onto social media by one of the 15-year-old’s classmates, took place Thursday at a high school in the southeastern suburb of Creteil. It drew widespread condemnation, including from President Emmanuel Macron and members of his cabinet as well as the right-wing opposition condemned the incident.

Man is killed by monkeys who threw bricks at him from a tree.

An elderly Indian man died after a group of monkeys threw bricks at him from a tree. Dharampal Singh was collecting pieces of dry wood when the animals attacked him in Tikri, Uttar Pradesh, on Thursday. The 72-year-old died in hospital after sustaining head and chest injuries, the Times of India reports.'Monkeys threw more than 20 bricks at Dharampal on Thursday,' his brother Krishnapal told the newspaper.

A grandfather has described how he "thought he was going to die" after contracting sepsis from biting his fingernails. Ricky Kennedy, 57, was left in so much pain, he was unable to move after being rushed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow.
