
People in certain areas of the United States may be able to see the aurora borealis, due to a geomagnetic storm warning issued by the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC). The agency predicts that the stars, also known as the northern lights, will be visible in Montana, North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan and northern Maine from 4 to 7 p.m. EST and then again from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m.
