Good dog' who accidentally shot his owner in the chest has been forgiven.


A man has survived after one of his dogs accidentally shot him in the chest. Tex Gillian, 74, was left with broken ribs (three), an injured lung and a broken collarbone after his dog Charlie accidentally pressed down on his gun and shot the man. According to Gillian, he was packing up his truck with his gun and three dogs Charlie, Scooter and Cowboy.

PAKISTANI CHRISTIAN WOMAN Asia Bibi, who spent eight years on death row for blasphemy, has been freed from jail, her lawyer said. The country’s highest court last week overturned Bibi’s conviction and ordered her release, but she had remained incarcerated as the government agreed to allow a review following Islamist protests over the bitterly divisive case.

People in certain areas of the United States may be able to see the aurora borealis, due to a geomagnetic storm warning issued by the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC). The agency predicts that the stars, also known as the northern lights, will be visible in Montana, North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan and northern Maine from 4 to 7 p.m. EST and then again from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m.
