Man Found With 44 Diamonds Up His Backside, Cops Say.

A man was found with dozens of diamonds hidden up his bum, cops have said, which sounds not only impractical but also painful. Twenty-three-year-old Eusebio Padilla, from New Mexico, was pulled over by police while out on his motorbike in Albuquerque last Sunday. However, eagle-eyed cops then saw him removing a small baggy from his backside, the Albuquerque Journal reports. And it was here that officer Daniel DeGraff, from Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office, opened the bag to find 44 small diamonds and here's me thinking diamonds were a girls' best friend and not a fella's intimate partner.

Fortunately for the police, the fair managed to capture the incident on CCTV and days later a man and woman were later arrested at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport but where was the diamond? Well, medics eventually managed to pull the 6-carat gemstone which was worth 10 million baht ($392,000) from the woman's butt. The woman later confessed I suppose she didn't have much choice really. The diamond's owner was then given the fun task of identifying it once it had been removed and presumably wiped it down at the very least.

Padilla was initially pulled over for driving without a licence plate, but then the bizarre events unfolded. The report read: "Based on the uncommon behaviour of concealing diamonds in packaging commonly used to store narcotics, and concealing it in his butt cavity, and the attempt to get rid of the item, it was apparent to me that Padilla must have known the baggy of diamonds was stolen."The complaint goes on to say that when asked, Padilla admitted to the cop that the stones were most likely stolen.DeGaff wrote that Padilla told him he has got the precious stones from his uncle and was hoping to trade them for drugs. Padilla now faces charges for handling stolen property and tampering with evidence. Bizarrely, this isn't the first time someone has attempted to smuggle diamonds with their arse. Back in 2015, cops in Thailand were investigating the case of a missing diamond, which had been stolen from a jewellery fair after thieves switched it with a fake.

These gruesome pictures show a man who miraculously survived after a long iron rod speared through his entire head from one side to another. Construction worker Sanjay Bahe, 21, was doing some repair work at a construction site when he fell down a well and the rod pierced straight through his head. The young man, from Balaghat in central India, was rushed to B.J. Hospital in nearby Gondia, after the iron rod pierced from the right temporal region of his brain to the left frontal region. A team of neurosurgeons, lead by Dr Pramod Giri, rushed to perform a gruelling 90-minute surgery to remove the rod, as Sanjay went into a crucial state of hypotension or low blood pressure.

Sanjay was resuscitated with blood and blood products and was taken for surgery at the Neuron Hospital. And, miraculously, after an hour and a half of surgery, the rod was removed safely with hardly any bleeding or injury to the surrounding area. Sanjay's main channel to the brain was preserved by just millimetres, said Dr Giri. Well, he better be thanking his lucky stars because he's definitely one life down. He said: "Giving anaesthesia to the patient in such cases is difficult. We did right by positioning the intubation to maintain vital channels in the brain during the operation.""I performed the surgery with all caution so that damage to the surrounding structures shouldn't happen."The doctor added: "One complication that can take place in such cases is causing meningitis to the patient."Fortunately, he is doing fine after the surgery, and we are also taking care to prevent meningitis."

Back in June 2018, a 12-year-old boy from India was speared through the chest after he fell from a tree. The four-foot-long branch pierced Bishnu Mahakud through his chest, with it coming out of his neck. The young boy was rushed to the nearest hospital, but doctors were wondering how to remove the piece of tree. A CT scan revealed exactly where the branch had penetrated and whether it had severed any major arteries. Thankfully, no serious damage had been done.Dr Manoj, who operated on Bishnu, said: "The patient was brought to the hospital in a critical condition. The tree branch has pierced through the left of his chest and came out of the neck."The boy underwent a three-hour-long surgery during which the tree branch was successfully removed from his body."
