Just like the Greek mythology, Yorubas have theirs too in the likes of those made mention above. All these deities, god and goddess are still worshipped today and relevant in our cultural heritage, religion and identity as Yorubas. Its part of who we are some are held as festivals which are internationally known they are our own beautiful unadulterated way of maintaining harmony with the universe remembering and connecting with our ancestors and appreciating the TRUE GOD the creator of the universe. Each tells stories that need to be passed from generation to generation because it is OUR OWN STORY WRITTEN IN OUR OWN LANGUAGE BY OUR FORE BEARERS for us to know, understand and embrace the dynamics of who we really are, where we are from, and where we are heading as a race.
