Amber Rudd has dramatically resigned as home secretary, after repeatedly struggling to account for her role in the unjust treatment of Windrush generation migrants. The home secretary was forced to step down after a series of revelations in the Guardian over Windrush culminated in a leak that appeared to show she was aware of targets for removing illegal migrants from Britain. The Home secretary initially denied any knowledge of such occurrences under her administration, until the Guardian newspaper leaked various internal memo's from the home office that indeed confirmed that Ms Amber Rudd has set deportation targets for home office immigration enforcement officials and also wrote another internal memo to the prime minister, Theresa May, promising to up the deportation targets by another 10% in the next coming years. This is much to the delight of millions of Nigerians and other immigrants in the UK, after overseeing a racist's strict regime that saw even legitimate British citizens getting locked up, detained or deported simply for being black.
