Baby orangutan demonstrates her beautiful bond with her mother with a peck on the cheek.

This is the adorable moment a baby orangutan gave her mother a loving peck on the cheek. Baby Indah is just eight months old, but she clearly has a beautiful bond with her mother Samboja. When her mother pointed to her lips, appearing to beckon for a kiss, her little daughter was clearly more than happy to oblige. Amateur photographer Remco Walravens captured the sweet gesture of affection between the pair, who live at the Apenheul Primate Park in the Netherlands.

Mr Walravens, who volunteers at the zoo, said it was only when he shared his pictures of the mother and baby bonding in their enclosure last week that he realised how special the image was when it received 35,000 likes within hours. 'I was following the little girl through my lens and the actual kiss lasted about two seconds,' he said.' Just before this moment, she was playing with her mum's hair and the pair were just enjoying each other's company.' He added: 'I photograph the orangutans because I want everyone to be able to see how special and beautiful they are, and I hope that this means people will grow to love them as much as I do, and hopefully they will protect them.'
