The breathtaking images voted among the best of 2018's underwater photos.

These breathtaking images of decades-old shipwrecks and stunning marine life are among the best of 2018's underwater photos.
The collection of amazing images have been compiled into the 2018 yearbook for the Underwater Photographer of the Year awards. A whopping 110 images feature in the latest edition of the yearbook, which is made up of a selection of winners from various categories and also those that came in at a close second or third. An image shot by German photographer Tobias Friedrich, who was named overall Underwater Photographer of the Year, is just one of those featured in the yearbook.
His incredible panorama photograph captured a number of British World War II military vehicles deep inside a shipwreck in the Red Sea. The picture, Cycle War, was taken in Egypt and shows Norton 16H motorbikes loaded in Fordson WOT 3 trucks with soldierfish schooling above. On winning the accolade earlier this year, Friedrich said: 'I had had this image in mind for a few years, but it is impossible to capture in one photo because there is no space inside the wreck to photograph this scene in a single frame. My solution took a series of pictures and stitch them together as a panorama.' A full look at the 2018 yearbook is available here.
