“Jenny from the Block” is giving back.
Now that her TV show “Shades of Blue” has come to an end, Jennifer Lopez has decided to auction off her character’s wardrobe to raise money for Puerto Rico disaster relief.
The pop icon, 49, has partnered with the Hispanic Federation and the UNIDOS Disaster Relief and Recovery Program on the auction of her costumes, with all proceeds going to help Puerto Ricans whose lives were affected by Hurricane Maria. The items up for grabs include a number of JLo’s signature ensembles from the series, as well as props such as police files, keys, FBI ID cards and desk accessories.
Fans of the show will have a chance to bid on the items via online auction site Screenbid from now until September 9, with the majority of opening bids starting at just $25.
