A mum has captured unsettling footage that appears to show her son's reflection moving away BEFORE he does.
The creepy video, posted by Twitter user Joylnn from San Antonio in Texas, shows the boy playing in front of the mirror. His mum posted the clip on Snapchat originally, but it has since been shared more than 112,000 times and viewed more than 3.7 million times after she shared it on Twitter.

Shot over just five seconds the boy is seen looking into the mirror and playing about with his mouth but suddenly his reflection starts moving away from the mirror and disappears as he appears to still be looking forward.
Posting the clip, she wrote: "Is it just (sic) me or did his reflection walk away quicker den (sic) he did?"Possible explanations touted by Twitter users include demonic possession and that the mirror is a portal to another dimension. One online commenter pointed out the reflection's eyes appear to remain open while the boy blinks. And another Twitter user said she didn't want to know the cause because "that's how a little boy in scary movie starts.
