Most people look at chicken wings and think "These need buffalo sauce," or 'These need ranch dressing." But Jonathan Cheban, a fan of all things flashy, thought 'These need gold.'Whether others will agree with him enough to buy his new dish at a New York City restaurant is still yet to be seen.

On Wednesday, the 44year-old who calls Kim Kardashian BFF unveiled a menu collaboration with The Ainsworth, showing off a platter of chicken wings covered in edible 24-karat gold.

Ten wings are $45, 20 wings are $90, and for $1,000 diners can order 50 wings with a bottle of Champagne Armand de Brignac. Jonathan also posted a video of the wings, hyping them up.'My camera is even trembling, these are so lit,' he says in the clip. 'These are unbelievable.


The wings are covered in some sort of edible gold topping.

He has said that it was Kim's husband Kanye West who came up with the name.

In June of last year, Page Six reported that Jonathan was legally changing his name to 'food god'.'Everyone calls me food god; scream it in the streets and run up to me in restaurants, and I want people calling me food god when they write about me not Jonathan or "BFF,"' he said. But while the TV personality said he planned to change his name officially, it's unclear if he has since followed through.
