Scientists believe they have found a cure for cancer and it will be available in just a year. The bold claim was made by researchers in Israel, who believe their treatment will be effective for all forms of the disease.
Drug company Accelerated Evolution Biotechnologies Ltd (AEBi) also says patients will experience very few side effects from treatment, which will take just a few weeks. Representative Dan Aridor told The Jerusalem Post: "We believe we will offer in a year's time a complete cure for cancer."And he continued: “Our cancer cure will be effective from day one, will last a duration of a few weeks and will have no or minimal side-effects at a much lower cost than most other treatments on the market."
Dr Ilan Morad said the company's breakthrough, called MuTaTo (multi-target toxin) will act as a cancer antibiotic. He said that specific drugs will be given to patients with different types of cancer. The treatment has been tested on mice, he said, describing the results as "consistent and repeatable".Dr Morad claimed that giving the specific combination of drugs will prevent the disease from mutating, and people will be cured completely in just a matter of weeks.
