Katy Perry is really JonBenet Ramsey claims disturbing conspiracy theory.

The internet is rife with odd conspiracy theories, from those claiming R Kelly's wife Aaliyah was killed by music big-wigs to those speculating that Avril Lavigne actually died 15 years ago and was replaced by an actress. However, singer Katy Perry has found herself at the center of one of the most bizarre ones yet. According to theorists on the world wide web, the Firework singer has actually murdered pageant queen JonBenet Ramsay... who died in 1996. To this day, JonBenet's murder remains unsolved, but a theory that can be found on several Reddit forums and YouTube explainers scandalously suggest that the six-year-old's death was actually a hoax, and she was kidnapped instead, only to become superstar Katy.
A video by YouTuber Dave Johnson, which amassed over 50,000 views before being removed, expands on this, confidently suggesting that JonBenet's parents set up her 'fake' death, "sacrificing" her to the Illuminati, to become a star.“JonBenét Ramsey became Katy Perry. That’s a fact,” the video's narrator assertively declares. “JonBenét Ramsey did not die, nobody died, nobody got hurt.“That sacrifice was in name only, and that sacrifice was to get something, and that something was to become a star."While the video makes the outlandish claim, it's 'evidence' is largely based on facial similarities, rather than cold hard facts
Flashing up images of Katy and JonBenet alongside each other, it is certainly unquestionable that they share a striking resemblance with theories particularly highlighting their 'identical' eyebrows. In another YouTube video, entitled JON BENET RAMSAY KATY PERRY VERY CLOSE, theorist Jungle Surfer suggests that "eyebrows don't change much in a person," citing this as evidence that they can't be different people. And it doesn't stop there, as the conspiracy goes on to reference how similar JonBenet's parents look to Katy's – brazenly adding that this must be evidence that they are in fact the same people. Of course, a huge issue with this theory is that Katy is actually double the age of JonBenet, and was twelve years old when she was found dead.
Plus, JonBenet's body was found by her father in the basement of their home, and a later autopsy revealed she had died from traumatic brain injury, after being strangled. How was her body examined if she was actually still alive? Was the coroner part of the Illuminati plot too? While the theory glosses over these questions, it goes on to present what it believes to be concrete proof that JonBenet and Katy are one and the same. It claims the Illuminati always "hides clues in plain sight," suggested that Perry even hinted at the theory herself in her autobiography. For instance, when discussing how she wrote songs as a child, the star mentions JonBenet by name. She writes: "Not that I was one of those stage kids. There was no JonBenet Ramsey inside of me waiting to burst out."Furthermore, claims YouTuber VK 33, both Perry and Ramsey both know the words to God Bless America – which is clearly another striking clue.
When the singer tweeted the lyrics in 2009, theorists went mad, sharing a clip of JonBenet singing the very well known song during one of her pageants. Could this be a coincidence? Not according to the die-hard believers.
Deanna@HeyItzDeanna@katyperry A child's unsolved murder is not to be laughed at or made fun of, it's sad." blink twice if you're JonBenét Ramsey" #VMA's @VH1.
The conspiracy doesn't stop there, also referencing the fact that there was a full moon the year Ramsey died, and highlighting the similarities between Ramsey's chequered kitchen floor and the motifs in Katy's music videos. While of course the majority of this has been largely laughed off by the general public, the conspiracy has now got so big that Katy was even been quizzed about it in public. During the 2017 VMAs, Billy Eichner asked the Swish Swish singer to "blink twice" if she is "actually JonBenet Ramsey".However, the perplexed singer was quick to shut down the speculation, giggling and replying: "Um wait, no, that is not real."
