If you ever doubted the power of social media when it comes to showing off your talent, you should probably think again. There is no telling which big shot might be on your timeline and where it could get you. On February 20, a Kaduna based young hyperrealism pencil artist took to Twitter to share his latest art piece, a hyper-realistic painting of his favourite comedian, Kevin Hart. The young Nigerian artist who has gone unnoticed till now took it a step further to mention Kevin Hart in a tweet on February 22 hoping that it might be his breakthrough one way or the other. With genuine interest and excitement, Kevin Hart took time to reply to several tweets including that of Eli Waduba praising him for his great work. But it did not end in praise, the impressed comedian took it a step further to offer to purchase the piece and make a payment for 3 similar works of his friends. Fans of both Kevin Hart and Eli have since shared their thoughts and excitement for the young artist while also praising Mr Hart for supporting true talent. The young artist might have found his breakthrough after several attempts at getting people to notice his works. Eli Waduba’s stunning works are of people and he manages to produce them just by using pencils.

A lot of people say celebrities never support locals, and I always tell them that "... maybe other celebrities, but not Kevin Hart." Damn bro, I'm proud that I don't have to withdraw my statement about you. You are great Kevin, God bless you with more life, success & talent. 137
