Crew Member Injured After Explosion On Set Of New Bond Movie.

The set of the next James Bond movie has been reported to be 'under lockdown' following an explosion stunt that went awry. One crew member was injured, with damage caused to the exterior of the set, but nobody on set was injured. The official Twitter account for James Bond confirmed the incident in a tweet that said: "During the filming of a controlled explosion on the set of Bond 25 today at Pinewood Studios, the damage was caused to the exterior of the 007 Stage."There were no injuries on set, however, one crew member outside the stage has sustained a minor injury."Filming for the new - as yet untitled - James Bond film is taking place at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire. A source close to the movie told The Sun that there were three explosions at the set, though this is at odds with the official statement from the official James Bond Twitter account. That source said: "It was utter chaos."There were three huge explosions and it's blown part of the Bond stage roof off and some wall panels off the stage. They were supposed to be filming."They continued: "A fireball was supposed to go through the set. That was the stunt but something has gone horribly wrong."There were three loud explosions, one after another, and a member of the crew was lying on the floor outside the building injured."It went bang, bang, bang. The place is now on total lockdown."This is the latest in a series of incidents that have plagued the production of the film. Daniel Craig, who plays the titular James Bond, recently suffered an ankle injury when he slipped over on a set in Jamaica. That injury led to production being shut down for longer than a week, while the 51-year-old, who is starring in his final James Bond film, recovered. He eventually had to have surgery to correct the injury before filming could continue.' Bond 25', as it is being known, will star Rami Malek as the villain of the piece alongside Craig. We'll also see Ana de Armas, Billy Magnussen, Dali Benssalah, Lashana Lynch and David Dencik in the film. Fleabag star and creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge was recently drafted in to help to write the script. Cary Fukunaga will direct the movie. The next James Bond film is scheduled to hit cinemas worldwide on 3 April 2020.
