
Six people have been taken to hospital following a three-vehicle horror crash in Co Cork. The incident happened on the N22 Cork to Killarney road just before 2pm on Saturday.
The road was reduced to one lane following the smash and emergency services attended the scene, CorkBeo reports. Six adults were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and motorists who were travelling to the Cork for the Munster Football Final were advised to use the N72 Mallow road. A Gardai spokesperson said: "GardaΓ attended the scene of a three-vehicle road traffic collision on the N22 on Saturday 22nd June 2019 at approximately 1.45pm. Three vehicles were involved in a collision that occurred on the N22, Clonkeen to Killarney rd, just before the Loo Bridge junction for Kenmare. Six people were taken to University Hospital Kerry with nonlife-threatening injuries."The road has since reopened.
