Congrats Kathleen Dowd on your new business venture of becoming a RPL Certified Practitioner.

This New Year’s Eve, I am proud and excited to announce my new business venture for 2024. Personally, after returning to education as a mature student, completing studies in areas of Business, Women’s Studies, Community Development, Leadership and Management, and through the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) pathway, completing a BA in Early Childhood Education and care. 

RPL enhanced my journey and so, during Covid, I furthered my studies in the field of RPL. RPL has empowered me leading to development in my career and today finally fulfilling my dream, to start a part-time business, providing a service to empower individuals and communities. In an ever-changing world personal development is key to building resilience and self-empowerment. 

A big thank you to everyone who supported me through the beginning stages of my dream, to my family, friends, and Longford Women's Link, Local Enterprise Office Longford, AONTAS for supporting me on my journey, looking forward to this new chapter May I send you, your family and your community every good wish for 2024.
