It has been reported that a couple of massive coronal holes opened up on the surface of the sun.No, we have no idea what that means, but it sounds interesting. Researchers are claiming that our planet could be hit by one solar storm today, and one on October 7th.

A toddler in the United States has gone viral after he shredded $1,060 (around €920) that his parents had saved up to repay a debt. Ben and Jackie Belnap, from Holladay, Utah, had been putting the money aside to pay back Ben's parents for season passes to the local football team.

Thousands of people have lined the streets of Liverpool this weekend to marvel at huge puppets walking through the city. By the end of the tour on Sunday the three giants, Giant-Man, Little Boy Giant and Xolo The Dog, will have travelled 20.6 miles across Liverpool and Wirral. The impressive street performance is the work of daring and ingenious magicians from French theatre company, Royal de Luxe, and was made to celebrate it being 10 years since Liverpool was the European Capital of Culture.
