Missing teen sends letter after vanishing 5 years ago.

Emily Paul
A missing Florida teen may have sent her family a letter after vanishing more than five years ago, according to reports.
Emily Wynell Paul’s family said they heard from their daughter last week for the first time since April 2013 when she left home at 14 years old, the News-Herald reported. Her family said they believe a letter they received was from their daughter who is now 19.“To all our friends and extended family, we want to let you know that we have heard from Emily,” her mom Pan Massimiani wrote in a July 26 post on Facebook. Massimiliano declined to disclose the contents of the letter but said that she’s “pretty sure it’s from her,” according to the newspaper. The teen reportedly told her family when she disappeared that she would contact them when she turned 18 years old. Investigators believe that Paul left home after researching online how to be a successful runaway, the News-Herald reported. Her family reportedly notified the Bay County Sheriff’s Office about the correspondence.
