Bosses explained the decision has been made because the puddings "weren't very popular".The sundaes disappeared from the menu on September 26, and many customers are outraged they didn't get a chance to enjoy a final one. The 99p sundaes were around long before the chain's famous McFlurries hit the shelves. Fans have taken to social media to voice their outrage at the news. It said: "Hi, the Toffee Sundae and Strawberry Sundae were removed from the McDonald’s menu on Wednesday 26th September 2018, and they were removed because they weren't very popular."The Government recommendations regarding sugar also played a part in the removal."Mirror Online has contacted McDonald's for a comment.
