Nine-year-old gives his shoes and socks to barefooted homeless boy

This is the heartwarming moment a nine-year-old gave his shoes and socks to a homeless boy on a street in Malaysia. Schoolboy Cheikh Faizal noticed the youngster as he was walking with his father, Sofian past the Bukit Bintang station in Kuala Lumpur an area popular with homeless. Cheikh felt sorry for the bare-footed boy as he 'looked the same age as him' and wanted to do something nice for him. He took off his shoes and socks and then put them on the cracked and dirty feet of the boy before walking home barefooted.
Sofian filmed his son walk over to the poverty-stricken youngster before sitting down and removing his own trainers. Video taken on January 13 shows them then playing together on the car park opposite before Sahouli then goes to chat with other homeless families in the same stretch of tarmac. Proud father Sofian, a travel agent, said: ''My son saw the young boy without shoes and made the decision himself that he wanted to help him.'He showed his love for everyone there, even though they are homeless. He then went home without his shoes. 'Hopefully, everybody in the world will see this positive message and we can make life better for every human being. There are many homeless people but if everybody makes a small gesture of kindness we can improve their lives.'
