Unseen Monster From 'Bird Box' Revealed And People Aren't Impressed.

Have you watched Bird Box on Netflix yet? If not, probably best to stop reading, because there's going to be a little bit of a spoiler below this video. The spoiler is that you never actually see the mysterious beasts in the thriller. Just to refresh, the film is set in a post-apocalyptic world where survivors stumble around with blindfolds on as the mere sight of the aforementioned beasts prompts people to take their own lives. Now that sounds like a very fearsome beast indeed, and it is this terrifying prospect that has had viewers across the world on the edge of their seat. The film was watched more than 45 million times in its first week on the streaming service, and no doubt each viewer has been conjuring the most awful depictions of the monster in their minds. But now pictures of the unseen creature have been shared online, and people really don't seem that spooked. Howard Berger, Bird Box's special effects makeup creator, shared the pictures in a post on Instagram which has since been deleted. He said: "It's always a bit disappointing when so much effort goes into something that ends up on the cutting room floor. 'But I get it and it's always what is best for the final product."Judging by the reaction online, it seems it was a wise decision to cut the prosthetic beast. One person said: "I'm glad they never put that in it, it's not scary what so ever. Would have ruined it."Another added: "They actually look like giant babies."One person said: "That does not look like something that would make people immediately kill themselves. I'm glad they cut it, it was much better with them being unknown. It would have ruined the whole effect of the "things" people were seeing."The ambiance of an unknown terror can make a great story, this movie did a good job with it."Many people though were left feeling a little baffled, and even annoyed, by the fact they never got to see the monsters.

In bird box, did it piss anyone else off that they didn’t actually get to see what the monsters looked like?? 6,266 338 people are talking about this
But the director, Susanne Bier, said this could not happen, as the monster is in the eye of the beholder. Speaking, she said: "The creatures mess with your mind; they tap into your deepest fear."And, because they tap into your deepest fear, we can't even see them, because that deepest fear is going to be different from whoever you are."So there you have it. Now don't go walking around in public with a blindfold on like an idiot now will you?
