Teenager Spends Night In A Club After Getting Locked In The Toilets
Knowing when to go home is an integral part of any successful night out leave too early or too late and you will undoubtedly regret it. It would appear, however, that one reveller missed all the signs it was time to call it quits, and instead woke up to find herself locked inside an empty nightclub. The 16-year-old girl who has not been named had fallen asleep in a cubicle and been missed by staff, who had all gone home. She had been enjoying herself at an under-16s Sixth Form disco at Manhattan's nightclub in Barrow, Cumbria, when she drifted off in the loos and didn't come to until the next morning when cleaners arrived and set her free. It really was a comedy of errors for the youngster, who couldn't even call for help because she had left her mobile with a mate. After the teenager failed to make it home, her parents called the police and reported her missing in the early hours last Tuesday.

They then launched a massive appeal across social media, asking people to keep an eye out for their daughter and requesting for anyone who had seen her get in touch with them as soon as possible. Her mum said: "We are relieved she is home safe and especially thankful to police who were very supportive and acted quickly."A spokesman from Manhattan's nightclub said: "We're unable to say too much at this stage but we had to make sure a young girl got home okay after finding her in the club after closing time."Cumbria Police was contacted for a comment but it is understood they have launched an investigation and their inquiries are ongoing. The teenager isn't the first party-goer to wake up in an embarrassing state, however - 20-year-old Tia-Rae from London had a shocker recently when she woke up to find her favourite heels had become stuck in a drainage grate while on a night out.

Sharing her ordeal, Tia-Rae told her followers that she simply 'didn't have the strength' to leave her heels behind. The determined fashionista uploaded a picture admitting that this might perhaps be a new low. It said: "I think it's fair to say I should never drink again."Explaining exactly what happened she added: "So basically I jumped out of the cab to walk inside my house and then I felt like one of my feet were stuck but didn't know what on, so I stood straight like the t**t I am."Nice work
