Eyebrow dandruff is a thing.

PSA: Eyebrow dandruff is a thing and this is why you get it
We all know about hair dandruff and how to tackle it, but eyebrow dandruff?
Nah.But, be real with yourself for a moment you sometimes get it, don't you? It could be after your skin dries up in the summer or if you've been wearing a lot of heavy makeup for an extended amount of time. Sometimes it's just there. And it's rotten. Well, apparently there are a few causes of it which could be eczema or contact dermatitis, however, true dandruff is the result of three main factors: “The presence of Malassezia globose [a fungus] on the skin, a genetic predisposition to dandruff, or the presence of sebum,” Ilyse Lefkowicz, MD, Head & Shoulders dermatologist told Women's Health. If you totally want to avoid it (yeah, dumb question), you should try an anti-dandruff shampoo but if it persists, go to see a dermatologist. However, if it keeps coming back from time to time, there are a few things to keep it at bay. First of all, stop touching it. Don't try to brush it away or pick at it because it will only make it worse.Dr. Lefkowicz adds: “Avoid substances like glycolic acid, benzoyl peroxide, acne medicines, or anti-ageing creams as these will only cause further irritation."
