Be very wary. Gardaí have issued an alert for the public to be vigilant of fake €50 banknotes. The notes were first spotted in Mayo, but money travels fast and could well be making their way around Ireland at the moment. Owners of late-night businesses have been warned to be extra cautious of when accepting notes from customers.
