Swimmer saved by lifeguards seconds before she drowns.

Dramatic pictures show a woman being rescued moments before drowning after being battered by waves in Sydney, Australia.
Lifeguards rushed into the water at Bronte beach after seeing the terrified swimmer struggling. Incredibly they reached her just in time and brought her ashore, where she was given medical treatment.

Another man had attempted to help the struggling swimmer but ended up getting into difficulties too. 
Lifesaver Andrew Reid told Daily Mail Australia: "I've seen a lot of people drown and I can say I think she was going under for the last time".
The distressed swimmer is said to have been a regular on the beach, but nearly perished as a result of the deadly conditions.
incredibly lifeguard Troy Stewart reached the woman just as she was about to vanish under the water.
The lifeguard was able to pull her above the water and carry her to safety in the nick of time.
The swimmer was put onto a paddle board and was taken to safety
Her relief was obvious as she was taken back to the beach after her near-death experience.
The exhausted woman was picked up as the paddleboard arrived back on the beach after she was battered by waves.
Mr Reid said: "I believe she truly thought she was going to die out there."
Bronte Beach had to close in the aftermath of the near-tragedy, and people have been advised not to go in the water.
