Drunk, naked man sets house on fire while baking cookies.

Cookies in an oven
A drunk, stoned and naked Florida man tried to bake cookies in his George Foreman Grill and accidentally set his house on fire in the process, police said.

Niceville firefighters responded to the smoke-filled home around midnight Aug. 27 and found James Gregory Cunningham, 53, in the nude as smoke billowed from his house, a police incident report states.

He opened the door, said “I’m sorry,” and promptly closed the door behind him, retreating into the smoky home.
Firefighters called cops for help and when they arrived, Cunningham, still nude, left the door open and allowed them to enter.

Getting pants for him now,” a police dispatch note reads. Firefighters were able to determine the blaze came from the cookies Cunningham tried to fry upon his lean, mean grilling machine. The fire grew when he threw some dry towels on top of it in a misguided attempt to staunch the flames. They also caught fire.
“He would have been seriously injured or could have possibly died,” police wrote in an incident report.

Cunningham who police say admitted drinking two litres of vodka and smoking marijuana was unhurt, and was removed from the home for his own safety, officials said.
