Sometimes it seems as though hairdressers and barbers forget just how much power they have one errant snip with the scissors or a nudge too far with the clippers and you've ruined someone's entire barnet/day/week.Risky.One woman who knows only too well the power that hairstylists wield is 22-year-old Lucy Burrows who says her confidence has taken a nose-dive after a dodgy haircut. Lucy, from Swindon, wanted a trendy, shaved-in undercut style for her long hair, so took along a photo she'd seen on Instagram to Barber n' Bar in Cheltenham. However, after handing over £20, she says she was left with was a mess of wonky lines, that left her fuming and seriously dented her self-confidence. Lucy said: "They absolutely destroyed my hair and confidence and I couldn't even go to work because of this.

Lucy says that she went in for the cut all the way back in August but that her hair is only now just starting to recover."I still can't wear my hair up at all and it looks so bad and messy," she said."You can't tell as much anymore but it still feels very thin to me."Adding: "After a long argument, the hairdressers admitted they did do it to me and sent back £30 but I am still half bald which obviously isn't great."Barber n' Bar was approached for comment. Of course, this isn't the first time we've seen someone left in tears after getting a fresh trim. Who can forget the poor chap from China who, just last month, ended up with a massive triangle shaved into his head after he showed the barber a screenshot of what he wanted and he got it including the 'play' button? Yikes. The unfortunate man hit headlines after entertainment blogger Tian Xiu Bot posted about the incident on social media saying: "There are not so many rigorous hairdressers like this left."And, he's got a point, I mean, in defence of the barber, he did just do exactly as he was told...
