This Pit Bull Gets Her Own Maternity Photoshoot And She Looks Absolutely Glowing.

In early September, Mama Pickles a cute pit bull was found wandering alone on the streets. The rescuers instantly saw that she needed help, given that the 2-year-old dog was very pregnant. The animal control officers took her off the streets and tried finding out where Pickles had come from they got in touch with her owners, but unfortunately, they had decided that Pickles was not needed anymore and left her to be at the shelter. The poor pit bull was so pregnant that she needed more help than the shelter could offer her, but fortunately, she was soon found by Pits & Giggles Rescue a non-profit organization specializing in caring for pregnant and nursing dogs as well as their puppies. While Mama Pickles’ belly was so huge that it made it hard for her to move around, she couldn’t help herself but jump all over the place while meeting her new rescue friends. Lauren Casteen Sykes, a volunteer with Pits & Giggles Rescue as well as a photographer, said “Pits & Giggles Rescue has a mission like no other. They specialize in Maternity rescue and care.
They save pregnant and nursing mama dogs from the shelter and provide them with the care they need to bring their babies safely into the world. Prior to adoption, Mama and all puppies are fixed and are placed in the best homes according to their personality and needs! Photographing these mamas and their babies give them the exposure they need to get adopted!”Lauren is the photographer behind Enchanted Hills Photography and volunteers to take pictures of dogs at Pits & Giggles Rescue to help them get adopted. “When Pits & Giggles reached out saying that they just brought in a Mama from the shelter that was the proudest, happy and caring little thing, we wanted to take photos to keep those precious moments,” the volunteer shared with us.
As soon as Pickles arrived at the rescue centre, Lauren knew right away that the pregnant pit bull is bound to have a maternity photoshoot. Naturally, the results look impossibly cute. Everyone was amazed at Mama Pickle’s modelling skills, as she looked like a true diva who certainly knows how to strike a pose. However, her huge belly kept getting in the way and it was hard not to laugh at the lovely pitbull’s goofiness and clumsiness. “She’s quite the model. Her legs are certainly too short for the runway, but she was really loving all the attention and affection,” Lauren said. “The most challenging part was getting Pickles to stop licking us! She wanted pets, pats, and belly rubs. She was just loving this new thing called “love”. She was so excited she could hardly sit still! Seeing Pickles sticking her tongue out, wagging her tail, and just being overall content was the most rewarding part. I could not thank the board and volunteers of Pits & Giggles enough that saved this sweet mama,” she added.
Not long after the maternity photoshoot, Mama Pickles gave birth to eight wonderful and healthy female puppies. It only seemed natural to do a follow-up photoshoot of the proud new mama and her lovely eight puppers. This time, Pickles seemed even more proud, standing next to her adorable newborns. The rescuers say that she is already an incredible mom and does an amazing job taking care of her little ones.
“This girly was clearly used repeatedly for breeding and we’re excited to make sure this is her very last litter,” Lauren told the media. In a few months, Mama Pickles along with her eight puppies will be ready to be put up for adoption in order to find them their forever homes. Up until then, they’ll be living at the rescue shelter. Lauren has been volunteering for Pits & Giggles for nearly two years now. “It hasn’t been only photoshoots, but fostering too, and we just adopted from them! Three years ago, my husband Brad and I adopted our first rescue dog. Her name was Remington Rose! We turned that sweet girl’s life around for the better and it really opened up our hearts to help other dogs too”.

12 of the Best Photos Captured of the Super Blood Wolf Moon.

Sunday night saw perhaps one of the most impressively-titled celestial events. The super blood wolf moon total lunar eclipse, or super blood great spirit total lunar eclipse, was the combination of a larger moon than normal and a total lunar eclipse, with the “blood” referencing its reddish colour as it passes over the night sky. Despite the trickiness of getting a decent photo, camera-ready lunar fans managed to snap some impressive images of the moon.
